STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
After sifting through our Tallinn photos, I decided we'd better get finishing the rest of the trip (still Stockholm, Oslo and London to go!).
Stockholm is an amazing city sprawling over about 14 islands and rich in architecture and history. I only had my camera for about half the day on our first day in port, and the full day on our second day, so my pictures are a bit limited. Jeff's camera has the shots from the football (soccer) game and our tour of the Globen arena. I'll get to posting those eventually. (Also, apparently my photo uploader crashed partway through the upload, and I haven't had a chance to get back to it...)
Stockholm is reached by cruise ship through the Stockholm Archipelago, which extends about 60km east from Stockholm. We sailed through the most fantastic landscapes of water, rock, tree and sky, a few rain showers, and amazing homes perched on shores and cliffs.
I have posted my photos from Stockholm to Flickr - go check them out! More to come soon!

RATTLESNAKE POINT
Jeff and I went for a photo-walk in Rattlesnake point a few weeks ago, anticipating the end of the fall colours... Plus, Jeff got to play with his new lens!
You can veiw the full album on our Flickr page.
Here's a quick sample of some of the amazing shots we got that day:

KAREN AND JIM
Jeff and I did a shoot with Karen and Jim for their 20th wedding anniversary. We went to the same place they were married at, and did a re-imagining of the photo shoot from their wedding day.
Karen and Jim were lots of fun to shoot, and we had a great time!
You can view the full album on Flickr.

TALLINN, ESTONIA
Finally, after much procrastination and delay and other things coming up and just not having time... (Enough excuses!)
We have updated Flickr with more travel pictures from our epic cruise this past summer in northern Europe; specifically, my shots from Tallinn, Estonia.
Going through these pictures made me come to the revelation (perhaps not a final conclusion, but realization none-the-less) that I loved Tallinn, that it is currently sticking in my memory as my favourite port of call, and that I would go back there in a heartbeat. Sure, we only saw the old, touristy, medieval part of town, but it had such charm, character and history that you just want to sit and soak it up! Which is really what we did in Tallinn... We went armed with a map and directions for a walking tour with the intention of wandering and getting lost and having fun! We did just that, and discovered a beautiful surprise in Tallinn.
We were lucky enough to have Tallinn as an early port of call, and so we hit the city before many of the touristy places had even opened, so we had the old town pretty much to ourselves for a couple of hours. It was peaceful and quiet and lovely, great for pictures (no people!) and Jeff got some great shots for his HDR processing.

MELISSA AND BEAU
We had the pleasure of shooting Melissa and Beau's wedding ceremony at Grace United Church in St. Thomas Ontario a few weekends ago. Fabulous couple - really down to earth and a lot of fun to work with! We didn't have a lot of one-on-one time with the couple, but we really enjoyed capturing their ceremony.
